Deborah has bared her poetic soul by independently releasing Spoken Word CDs - Spoken Soul: A Survival Kit of Poetry, and Deborah Magdalena LIVE featuring soulful singer Big Brooklyn Red and Nestor Torres. In between her busy touring and TV taping schedule Deborah has found the time to work with kids in after school programs funded by Arts For Learning, personally authoring an original poetic program called After School Zen. Currently Deborah’s one woman spoken word show “Letters to the Men I Love” has been invited by Miami’s Carnival Center of the Performing Arts to participate in a Think Tank Sessions series – fall 07. |
